Optional daily backup to your own Google Drive, encrypted on your PC. Restore everything after a Windows reinstall or on a new computer.
How DialDesk CRM uses your Google account
DialDesk CRM asks you to sign in with Google for one optional feature only: Google Drive backup. When you click Connect Google Drive in Settings → Backup & restore, the app requests the permissions shown here. Every other feature works without a Google account.
- You sign in on Google's own page in your browser and approve access.
- The app encrypts its database, attachments and call recordings on your PC with your backup password (AES-256).
- Encrypted files are uploaded to a "DialDesk Backups" folder in your Drive once a day. Old copies are removed after the number of days you choose.
- To restore, you sign in on the new PC, pick a backup and enter your password.
Permissions requested
- See, edit, create and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app

What we never do
- Your Google data never reaches our servers. It moves only between your PC and Google.
- It is not sold, shared, used for advertising or used to train AI models.
- Nobody at DialDesk CRM can read your backups. They are encrypted before upload.

DialDesk CRM's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Details are in our privacy policy.
